Two brothers Bernard and Damarius turned their struggles into inspiration in a cramped Chicago basement. Growing up in poverty, they were often told they’d never amount to much, labeled “rotten” by life’s harsh realities. That night, Bernard and Damarius had an idea: create a clothing line that told their story—raw, resilient, and unapologetic. They called it Born Rotten, a tribute to their humble beginnings and unbreakable spirit.

Born Rotten LLC grew from basement-made hoodies to a movement of empowerment. Bernard and Damarius proved that even in the harshest soil, something beautiful can grow. Poverty didn’t define them—it fueled their rise.
